The cost of "supporting" the latest language fad is unbearable

It just take one developer to build some mildly useful thing (that could be made in the mainstream language anyway) to have nightmares forever.

Take golang, built just to cage people into google stuff (like .net is for microsoft)

is there some positive stuff, yes, but the amount of shit surrounding it is .... unbearable

Oh God, here we go, yet another programming language. Apparently, C, C++, C#, Go, Forth, Fortan, Cobol, Ada, Haskell, Lisp, Java, Javascript, et al, aren't enough. Programming languages are getting like javascript frameworks: a new one comes out about each week.
