I'd like to see that code. Chances are it could be re-written from scratch to be more efficient and not be a time sink for programmers who try to use whatever poorly optimized code is there already. I've spent much of my career in programming throwing out someone else's bad code and re-evaluating the task at hand only to discover that they didn't even understand the requirements in the first place.

My primary job is to un-fuck what people before me created and when there is no documentation to also reverse engineer it and again.. un-fuck it and document it.
