It makes me laugh, really. When I was in school many decades ago, the arguments for killing babies were exactly the same as now, with the counter arguments being "I don't care what religion says, it's my body." Now in current era, with science defining that it is a human child at conception, they still cannot grasp or argue that it's murder. They cling to clump of cells and my body my choice as if that is sufficient justification for the murder of another human being. God is irrelevant in this. If they want to claim they don't need a "book" to make them good people, then perhaps they should start by protecting the LITERAL one class of humans that are entirely defenseless.

I remember saying "my body, my choice" to one of my pro-choice "friends", back when vaccine mandates seemed imminent. He seemed deeply upset by and told me he didn't like the way I phrased it. I asked him to explain his feelings, and he couldn't.
