It has not even been like 4 months since we found out that China managed to get into ISP backdoors that our government required. ALL BACKDOORS ARE BAD. They will ALWAYS be used against you eventually.
You cannot sufficiently protect them and they should not exist. If if you could protect them, they should not exist. That is a major breach of privacy/trust.
