From the post:

>With Google’s last tracking u-turn fresh in the mind, here comes another one. Not only have cookies won a stay of execution, it now looks like digital fingerprinting is back as well. But as one regulator has pointed out, Google itself has said that this type of tracking “subverts user choice and is wrong.” And yet here we are—wrong or not. “We think this change is irresponsible,” the regulator warns.

For Android devices give 'FFUpdater' a try which is available through the F-Droid app store. This will help you pick from dozens of browsers and install/update it. I've been using Fennec (a Firefox derivative) downloaded this way.

They have browser categories to chose from with several choices in most sections: - From Mozilla - Based on FireFox - Good Privacy Browsers - Good Security Browsers - Better than Google Chrome

On my laptop I use Firefox ESR which is the less bleeding-edge more stable Firefox.
