Looks like someone got their hands on a massive "CC" list and is trying to figure out which ones are still "good" so they can use/sell them.
This could be pretty bad if you got one of these charges. Maybe consider locking your card and changing it if you can.
This is a good reason why you should never use a debit card. Use a credit card for non-cash purchases, that's their money and they get twitchy when someone fucks with their money. Debit card is your money, and you're fucked if it gets taken.
I've been hit like this a number of times, it's just call and say yeah, fraud charge, need a new card number.
Also, Credit unions (local) not national/international banks.
The credit union I deal with uses Elan Financial for their cards, as do a lot of CUs. They don't issue their own.
