Well, you've gone from a cop-out to speaking nonsense. It cannot both do nothing and increase your privacy online - they are mutually exclusive. If it increases your privacy some of the time, it increases your privacy, because that's better than increasing your privacy none of the time.

A compromised exit node is still better than handing out your IP address to essentially everyone on a naked browser, and obviously not all the nodes are compromised. Tor also has inbuilt script-blocking and features to reduce browser fingerprinting.

Again. Overall does Tor increase your privacy, or not?

I suppose when you put it that way, it does increase your privacy. I'll concede the point.
