Yep, it's pretty much a legacy product at this point, at least in first world countries. I imagine they get more use in less developed nations.

At least an older version. Covers AM/FM/SW and works surprisingly well. Friend of mine was listening to stuff from the states on a trip to Australia a few years back - of course he was literally in the middle of nowhere, so no interference.
