That is my best radio, but I actually have a couple of Sony radios I use more often a ICF-P26 and a ICF-F10.

It's nice that Sony still makes "dumb" radios that are just a single IC and a capacitor for tuning.

Yep, it's pretty much a legacy product at this point, at least in first world countries. I imagine they get more use in less developed nations.
