I recently tried solid shampoo, and am shocked it isn't more popular in the prepping community. Consider

1) It cannot leak and make a giant mess.

2) is extremely compact. one small bar of soap is equivalent to at least 2-3 bottles of shampoo.

3) Gets your hair clean without all the strange ingredients or lingering perfumes.

4) Can be purchased from small businesses, who still use traditional recipes.

I've been using solid shampoo for a year now and am incredibly impressed. Honestly, I won't be stocking anything else. Hate to admit, but I used to be one of those women who insisted on salon quality shampoo...never again. This stuff is awesome!

I have no idea what their ratios are. They're def. pushing the environmental story, what do you know our ancestors knew something about something! On the prepping side, this stuff takes up almost no space in my stockroom, and turns out to be cheaper than the traditional product. It's also super easy to travel with, and nice to use a shower that isn't over-run with marketing.

Hopefully we have all figured out that plastic recycling is a corporate lie enabled by china. It will be interesting to see how the plastic problem will be politicized in the future.
