I question everything and use articles that interest me as an opportunity to do research. I went down a rabbit hole on UN funding a couple of years back.
This was one of my main complaints on Voat, people taking screenshots as gospel because they fit their worldview, even when certain people (cough, tendiesonfloor, cough) would highly editorialize titles to twist their screenshots to make it seem like the article in question said one thing, when in reality there was much more depth and nuance. Twisting clickbait titles to push a false narrative.
