you dont have to report this year or ever again. tbh if i didnt have health insurance at all in 2018 it would have been a crazy amount of money i would had to pay so some FUCKING illegal can get free health care

Insurance is what makes healthcare so expensive in the first place. No-one cares what it costs when insurance pays for [almost] everything, so hospitals are given a blank cheque.

Shop around, negotiate, and offer to pay cash then and there. You'll be amazed.

I had to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed. No insurance. Told them I could pay cash, and the 6k price went down to 3k total (including the anaesthetist's fees), and the wait time went from 2 weeks to the very next working day.
