This would be quite interesting. And if Trump is so interested in the US annexing Greenland, I honestly think trying to buy it would be a better approach than trying to invade the lands like we've done before.
Also, wouldn't this potentially be a prelude to the US annexing Canada since the US already has Alaska? Either that, or it's the beginning of a battle for a global government. Though, I'd imagine such a battle for a global government would not involve military weapons and such, but rather the US fighting Russia, China, and the UK in bidding for buying other lands.
