I don't see anything wrong with mutual protectionism (even if it does spark war, that's kind of inevitable considering China *will* invade Taiwan once its naval capacities have advanced far enough to seize its foundries). It's better to depose the charade of "free trade" now rather than later. E: Wouldn't be half in this mess if the ~~globali~~ I mean, grrr, those headless Wall St. types didn't stupidly whore themselves out on those one-sided agreements.
