This is something that should scare everyone, if they pull this off it is step one too the government being directly run by corporations and if you think it would stop there you are going to be disappointed.

Once this is out of the bag it will never not be a thing. 8 years from now. 500 years from now. 1000 years from now, AI's will be involved in pursuing political outcomes, and funded by the biggest companies.

Some leftists see these big tech companies as enemies, but others see partners. The Democratic Party can talk an anti-corporate game, but they still get plenty of money from big corporations. This would still be a win for technocratic leftists.
