On a different note, I have friends who are currently packing up their family and getting ready to move down there. The country has a growing ex‐patriot network. The currency exchange rate with the US and Canada is favourable and Bitcoin is legal tender.

The last Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, ruled 1941-1979 until his overthrow by the islamic revolution. His father ruled before him for 16 years before abdicating to Mohammad.
