I genuinely wonder if they will manage to actually impeach trump and if they do I doubt anyone knows what the long term consequences would be.
I'm pretty sure they never had the votes in either house or senate this close to the election for so many, barring some "miracle" turn of events.
There's a lot of news discussion by pundits on what would happen. It's an interesting question.
The one thing I heard in listening to some of them was that Trump doesn't want to be in history books like Bill, in that same way. But also already knew didn't have the votes, so antagonizes them to do it publicly every chance gets.
I personally think there would probably be riots if it happened but I could be wrong.
