Thomas Jefferson - Democrat-Republican John Adams - Democrat-Republican (two others as well before this) Benjamin Franklin - Independent Alexander Hamilton - Federalist I grew up switching back and forth between Democrat or Republican and/or not liking both sides or liking both sides at the same time (depending). I'm now more just Independent (mostly) / Conservative (fiscally somewhat / mostly and other stuff to as well). This is a great post to serve as a reminder.
