Public schools in their current form are based on a old german system, that was designed to produce obedient workers. Its kind of messed up. FUBARed is exactly the right term. I used to work for a charter that was giving kids free college using public funds it was completely legal state still shut it down. I hope 40% don't want socialism that would be really sad. Credit for anything in general drives up cost. Debt is the problem if you ask me if people can't go into debt to buy things then things will cost what people can afford not what banks can afford.
