Diamond's assertion in GG&S that cultural differences can be chalked up to continental X vs Y oriented axes is embarrassing in its simplistic dipshitedness. Not once in that anthropology-for-the-masses tome does he address racial morphological and intellectual differences (lookin' at you, Frontal Lobes & G). But then again, his whole schtick of based on the increasingly debunkable Out Of Africa con, so, ya know...
I haven’t finished the book. It’s funny, I don’t know why I assumed he’d point to frontal lobe stuff.
He specifically does NOT address that glaringly obvious fact of life as I'm sure he has zero ambition to commit a Herrnstein & Murray Bell Curve level sacrilege and be scourged from the ranks of the marketable.
That makes more sense than my assumption. At least we know the truth.
