The Sheriff can throw the FBI out of their counties. The sheriff has a lot of power that they are unaware of. This story has a liberal bent to it but gives the jest of the sheriff's power.

Fun Fact - Concealed Permits have to pass a federal background check.

Just because the sheriff does a background check on you didn’t mean you got the permit. The Feds may get a list of who got checks r not necessa who got permits.
