They unilaterally declared that Assange is suicidal. This serves two purposes.

One is humiliation, degradation, and torture. Two, it sets him up to be suicided later. They can point back and say, "See, we had to take measures because he was suicidal, and we were right to do so because he killed himself!"

Being dehumanized for a lengthy period of time can drive a person to suicidal depression, so better strip them naked and throw them in a cell 24/7 under constant surveillance.

If Trump was a real leader, he should have issued him a blanket pardon while he was still in office. Assange is a hero and we should be naming high schools after him.
