You’re forgetting an important element. Just as our retarded government has chosen to intervene in foreign wars by proxy, so would other countries (Russia, China, etc) vying for a better global position if an uprising or civil war were to occur here. It’s likely they would begin to supply rebels with advanced weaponry and intelligence if it were opportunistic to do so. Not to mention defectors from the US military that would join the militia cause.
