It's not something to be wielded lightly...Full use of the 2nd amendment against the government will be the end of the country as well as many other countries that are connected to it, for better or for worse. The government elites know it, which is why they have worked tirelessly to neuter it. Trying to find another path before going full revolutionary war is not a waste of time, even if it ends up being the only valid solution.
