I use to watch the news and read several papers, always interested in politics and our government. 15 months ago I canceled our cable and stopped all news papers. I have been a patriotic American all my life, my family having served in every war the USA has ever been in and my husband having served 23 years as well. When I first saw military wives on a base protesting the war in Iraq , I though at first, it was a joke. This was something I have never seen before, and its just not allowed, to protest on a base, let alone by wives of military soldiers.
I am sure that they, after the news people left were told when they could leave the military. My point is , I began to see things in the news and in the papers during this election that really stunned and shocked me. The way Palin was treated was so disgusting , I really thought everyone had lost their minds. But, it was everything Democrats did and said in general that was uncalled for and frankly unAmerican to say the least.
Most Americans were tired of the way things have been going in Washington, no doubt we all had issues with our government and the people we entrusted to look out for our countries best interest.
The politicians in Washington now are scaring the heck out of most Americans, these people are suppose to be serving the people, and they are not. They are serving special interest groups and people who pay them to do their bidding. Most of them are shameful crooks and liars, and several of them are just plain insane. We watch judges making laws and overruling the vote of the people for special interest. We see our religion as Christians being under fire everyday, and an unborn child goes unprotected and tossed aside like trash for the sake of special interest. We see gay marriage shoved down every states throats, when the people vote against it time and time again. We see the gay life style forced upon our young children in schools across the United States, when we as a nation vote against this. 70% of this nation does not want gays married and their life styles pushed on our young children, no religion in the world allows these things.
Lets not forget the way our military men and women were treated, the Ridiculous courts and trials, and twisted ugly words against our brave men and women.
Liberals who want to take America's guns from them, and Environmentalism and the global warming alarmism that is challenging our freedoms. This , all of this is insanity and what the democrats
and liberals have forgotton is how this country was founded, and the principles she was founded on, and Who the American people are...We are the greatest nation on earth, in spirit, in generosity , in our religious beliefs, our values and in our love of our nation. This America is not about One Man...its not about special interest groups...its all about its people, all of her people. We are watching a certain bunch of people trying to destroy this country, and the news media aidding and abetting an agenda that goes against who America is and what we stand for as a nation and a people. We watched a news media elect a man for the president of the United States, without so much as a background check, no birth certificate, and no one in main street media is Allowed to ask this president Any question about Anything, period. This man who was elected president on his color alone has been given a Free pass to do whatever he wishes, and it is clear now...this president thinks he's the boss...When in fact he works for us, the American people and he will start listening to the American people.
This president and his handlers think they know America...from what I have read and have seen from this president, he does not know America at all..and from what we Americans have seen in the last 100 days, this president does not like America or her people.
Liberals just do not get it..but we do , always have, and we will protect our country at any cost.
