I know Ukraine is corrupt but I don't think it's possible to be more corrupt than the U.S. I'm fairly sure that we are The king of corruption. other countries are corrupt but the debt makes it possible and we are king:

This echoes some of my own thoughts on the situation. People have to face their own corrupt government, then an external invader is added to the mess. We look at their government and say things like "it serves them well, they should vote someone else!" and we forget we all live in similar conditions.

The bigger problem is : No one wants to take action; they want to goad someone else into taking action and then label them a lunatic after they do.
