i like the way the article tries .. in vain .. to make it sound like its a covid deal: fear of interacting with attendants, or employees not wanting that particular job. pumping gas used to be a CAREER path (like being a cop was once honorable) .. the truth? how much does it cost to have attendants and who pays for it?

New Jersey for sure. And they are unionized, so if at any point the union decides they didn't get their way on every iota of their wishes, nobody in a whole state gets gas. Of course that never happens, they just get their way.

New Jersey used to be the place to go for cheap gas. Thanks to Captain dipshit at the helm, the prices of Jersey are equivalent to PA. I expect it will get even more expensive in Jersey as they find new ways to shove taxes up your ass

Just stop observing it. Ask your boss to ignore it and have people come in the same time every day (in actual time). If your boss agrees that DST is retarded, and most do, he might go for it. You lose all the shots you don't take.

having a guy pump your gas in Oregon is cheaper than filling up in Washington and pumping yourself.. how the fuck does that work? There is no logical reason to change the law as it is .. other than the stations can save more money not having a pump jockey
