The media is flipping out that, "OHHHH WE GOT HIM NOW," because their phrasing sounds like they finally got some sort of crimes against the previous adminstration after of years of hoaxes.
But even if he's guilty, and it certainly isn't clear that honoring a former president's claim of executive privilege isn't valid, it's a misdemeanor.
For comparison this is far lesser than congress threatened half of major league baseball with when John McCain et al were ignoring a disaster in Iraq, a pending collapse in Afghanistan, and an out of control housing bubble because it was more important to figure out if Roger Clemens cheated at a game everyone knew everyone was cheating at.
