Capitalism favors the little guy as it gives him a chance to compete. Once a company reaches a certain size and market dominance, free market capitalism becomes a disadvantage. This is when the company calls for more regulation to keep the little guy out or for downright communism (where the company will be in charge).

the gas companies did exactly this. they regulated more expensive environmental policies for gas stations. knowing that doing so will kill all small gas stations leaving them with no competition

Capitalism is the absence of any systems. The absence of state interference. Where individual people own the means of production.

It's about power more than wealth. The only way these bureaucrats, politicians and billionaires can obtain more power is to centralise all political control under their rule. All communist revolutions are financed by wealthy bankers anyway, it's a myth that they are grassroots movements.

Their useful idiots, the lowest people in society, the ugly, stupid, useless, in return get status and privileges for their loyalty. So in effect you have the very top weaponising the very bottom against anyone else. Look up Bio-Leninism.

Think of your average communist tech bugman. What status would he have in a natural order society? Or even a feudal society? These people know they are very low on natural hierarchies which is why communism appeals to them as it allows them to climb a hierarchy that rewards their political loyalty. It's why we can spot communists just by their appearance.

Communism is just another term for totalitarianism. Where a very small group of people have everything and the super mass majority of their slaves/subjects fight over scraps and trash.

The super wealthy push it because they believe they'll be a part of the 3-5% who have everything and because there is no avenue (outside of civil war / revolution) that their wealth and power will never be contested.

You will never get a straight answer. The propagandists start counting literally every death that is not directly attributable to communism as a "capitalist death". They literally claim that everyone who died without having government provided healthcare as a capitlaist death. They claim all the kids dying in Africa are capitlaist deaths because under communism everyone gets fed and taken care of. That just isn't true. The propaganda is not "equally from all sides". There are those who overwhelmingly control the narrative and they get to push their bullshit. Meanwhile any contradictory information, whether bullshit or not, gets attacked by that same power. So very little propaganda that goes contrary to the narrative survives. Propaganda needs power to survive, that is why the mainstream narrative is always the one full of the most bullshit.

The more censorship we have the more skewed that balance is. The more bullshit that gets to exist. And it has been hundreds of years since we have had this much censorship and control over information. We live in the new dark ages.
