Well, they have to find something useful to do with all of the billions of USD that were left for them in stacks of hundreds, and you can only buy just so many goats and dancing boys before your attention must turn elsewhere. If anybody would have a deep understanding of graft and corruption in government it would be the Afghanis. They know how government really works.
They know that when engaging the services of a whore, the rule has always been, "The gentleman always pays first." They could probably do worse than hiring the "Big Guy's" son. That's what everybody else does. And they understand the need to keep the graft in the family.
