the last 5 or 6 years sure has demystified the 3 letter agencies hasn't it? I used to think that, for the most part, they are well oiled machines with really good analytics, insights and so forth. It turns out this isn't true at all. Most of the time they have no clue what they are talking about the way a middle manager makes up bullshit to justify their job has no clue.
Which probably explains a lot.
