How long are we gonna occupy them this time? Thirty years? Fifty? One hundred? Twenty years changed NOTHING. That should tell you something. The Taliban will always take over because Afghanistan is the Taliban.

All that brutal stuff they do is their version of morality. Yes, it's backwards, barbaric even, but you can't force a bunch of medieval goat herders to advance a thousand years because you say so.
