Well the targets change over time. Cuomo was a Democrat. But he was also a white male. If the SJWs think they can take out someone like that and replace him with a diversity hire, they will do it. Also Cuomo's shitty performance as governor lost him support amoung the establishment elite and made the Democrats look bad. In essence, there was nothing to lose by shit canning him. And no one was willing to fight for him.
