Dems are in a real pickle. The plan was to keep dementia Joe in office until Jan 2023 so that Kamala could run for 2 full terms in 2024 and 2028. However Joe is becoming a problem for any Dem in a district that is not fully blue. Kamala was never popular even in California but they figured that Dems would have to support her because she is a woman of color. Her refusal to do anything about the border crisis and he general unlikability make her just as unpopular as Joe. Now they have to decide whether to stick with the plan to install her in 2023 or to keep Joe functioning until 2024 and find a better candidate than Harris.
