I know this is a video from 2016, but this would be in my opinion a really good idea. If more government agencies placed their headquarters outside of Washington, DC, it would help in three ways:
Cities and areas across the country that lack well-paying jobs could possibly see huge economic gains.
Washington, DC, would be less expensive to live in since demand for housing would decrease.
Costs for office spaces for the government would decrease.

I agree with all this, and the whiner bureaucrats who don't want to move can stay in their shitholes and not move to the flyover country they secretly/openly despise.
