Their entire ideology is based around not being a “conservative” because they are inculcated with the meme that that implies an uneducated inbred backwoods religious nut. So if they know that southerners or conservatives don’t like lockdowns they will clamor for eternal lockdowns. If they hear that conservatives don’t like vaccines they will get six or seven vaccines out of spite and signaling.
