I can't believe I didn't see it before. DeSantis is a plant and a controlled puppet by the behind the scenes people. Just like you can see the democratic machine pick their puppets that are just pallatable enough to the democratic base but in reality will do the bidding of the machine, I can now see the gop machine doingthe same. DeSantis is basically this: * The machine does not want Trump back, they cannot control him. * The machine knows the base is 100% Trump, or to put it another way, a kind of americana / populist base with a fixed value system. * DeSantis is basically a Biden: a sock puppet for the shadow operators that reads his sripts perfectly tailored to be just pallatable enough to the rable but in reality will do what they want him to do. Has DeSantis done all the right things so far? Absoiutely. Would he be good for America if he were to continue doing those things as president? Absolutely. The problem is that I smell a rat. Nick has a great sense for seeing what is really going on.
