When senators and congressmen tell us they are going to "do something about" some issue, what they really mean is that they are about to TAKE AWAY something FROM you. In this case, they want to take away our ability to purchase many many goods and services that they themselves enjoy in abundance, such as a high square footage of living quarters, plenty of transportation, decent food in generous quantities, and savings for raising our offspring and educating them. Only by taking these things away from you and me can people like Schumer "do something about (((climate change)))."
