Haven't you been paying attention, for the past twenty years or so all Republicans care about is being recognized for their effort.

They mean well and that's all that matters. We elect them, time and again. so they can wave their participation trophies at us while pointing at the curiously effective but tragically uneducated leftist horde.

as much as I hate virtue signaling because of the logical fallacy behind it, humans respond to it. Many sheeple just want to be on the side that wins, they don't care. This means that the more people who think a thing, means that thing is more correct and moral. So even if there is no chance of this bill passing, if it receives a significant amount of support, it gains credibility in the minds of the public and especially in the minds of politicians who are trying to win a popularity contest every couple years. So yes, we should be pressuring our reps to support this.

Don't need a bill. I have a gated driveway and 4 no trespassing signs. Go through this and I call the sheriff who is a rabid conservative and have them removed. I will also appear at my door with an appropriate "response tool". That door to door shit won't fly in my county.
