Reddit fucking sucks. So does Twitter. They both have moderators guilty of censoring the hell out of everyone and banning them to make sure they don't revolt. You don't even get a ban reason, now Reddit just lets mods mute you, and some of the mods do it before you even get a chance to respond. (external-preview.redd.it)

But if I'm against these sites, and I'm against censorship, why don't I go to the ones that promote free speech, like Gab?

I go to the front page of this site and see one post that isn't related to politics. Yeah, it does it's job alright: nothing gets censored. The problem is that the prime target for these sites becomes people who got banned for being alt-right, which isn't too big of a problem, except even /s/Funny is full of memes specific to politics. Twitter and Reddit are shit but they have diverse content for people like me who don't indulge 24/7 in politics. <- That said, I'm aware that there are people that engage this much in politics; not really my cup of tea, but sure, if that's what you want to do then you do you.

You can feel free to call me a leftist, a liberal, a libtard, etc. To be honest I'm sort of in the middle of the spectrum but I'm well aware that's not really relevant to the post; but it doesn't exactly matter because at the end of the day this is just some fucking retard throwing his two cents on to the platform. But if you wonder why I don't opt for these sites, that's why: It's simply not my cup of tea.

That said, there's one more thing I have to bring against this site. I would mention something about every left-leaning post getting downvoted, but I can't confirm this because there's no controversial setting like Reddit to view the most downvoted posts (also no way to sort by "all time" though so I suppose that doesn't really matter). This is something the Trump subreddit does, and they aren't exactly free from censorship-heavy mods either. (bayimg.com)

Sayonara, some dumbass throwaway account.

Just this one. And I'll probably delete it as it brings up unpleasant memories.
