I'm torn. Why should any company get tax breaks let alone some of the most profitable out there? But I also don't want to pay double for gas. I bought a couple grand of oil stock a while back. Maybe that will offset my costs.
Tax breaks are different. It is regulatory shit, import taxes, etc.

the government creates hundreds of regulations that are redundant and expensive, then says, "I'm giving you a tax break".
Those are the breaks they're going to remove.

The tax structure, especially for energy companies is extremely complex and is really just a mechanism for control. Unless you work in the energy sector, you really don't know absolutely how many regs there are and how they effect the bottom line. For Biden to just come in and say fuck that and enforce all the taxes created, is proof that he is trying to destroy the industry and destroy our energy systems. But I'm pretty sure you at least know that part.
