Humanity's interpretation of reality is consensus-based, just like science is. While the scientific method has not been subsumed, the scientific institutions have been. Commies can take those over, and with the media parroting what they say and only allowing them on TV, science has been hijacked. Many normies don't understand that science isn't a top-down dictatorship, yet this is the image handed down by institutional & media gatekeepers. It doesn't matter how hard you "fuckin science, bro" and if you can actually prove the institution wrong, it is whether or not you are an "expert" (i.e. the approved scientist of the regime). This is the core of "scientism" and why the "experts" (read: those that toe the party line) are called "the new priest-class".
