Lots of evidence that he was a tradcon who believed in the system. He was arrogant and willfully oblivious to how far usa had fallen into enemy hands.
As a result he failed utterly.
Americans needed him to have gained military leadership. His own bodyguards and intelligence agency. Then surrounded election booths with loyal soldiers and been prepared to cross the Rubicon.
Well... We can try to look for non-existant evidence or we can look at his results. Who cares really what his intentions are? The result of his failure, willful or honest, is the end of the Nation. He could still turn it around today though ... No problem but he won't. That is how I know it was willful.
