but now here me out, if we did that(which is probably the right thing to do) we would not have all this entertainment. I'm just saying.

True...no argument there, Some of the funniest memes ever are about that horsetoothed jackass.

green is the new red.

That is actually kind of a good observation. I can't believe I missed that one.

Honestly, he is so right. I personally initially thought it was a good idea because from what I understood, it was proposing to move us towards using more cleaner sources of energy such as solar and wind over the next few years and thus, helping to create more well-paying jobs for Americans in the processing of doing so. However, Ocasio Cortez has made it a trap for socialism with unrealistic goals like retrofitting every building ever by 2030.

When I heard the part about retrofitting every building my first thought was "there are literally not enough contractors to do this in 10 years" so I looked into it and its true, we don't even have close to enough contractors to pull this off, even if you include the illegal immigrants, it would still be impossible.

Indeed. There would not be enough contractors out there. Moreover, who's gonna pay for it during a time where we're still being the world police and involving ourselves in a bunch of wars and interventions overseas like in Syria and Afghanistan? And if you do decide to use taxes to pay for it, it creates an even bigger problem - how much will everyone have to pay for it? It's just a mess. A more realistic goal would be between 2040 and 2050 honestly.

Honestly that isn't a realistic goal at all, how many energy efficient appliances do you have? Thanks to the industry I'm in I get to look at these and in many cases the energy efficient versions use more because they do not perform as effectively. Its a crap shoot no matter how you look at it. Realistically encouraging individuals to provide their own electricity and utilities is the only realistic way to get to zero carbon emissions.
