Thanks for the tip, catbox has been pretty cool so far and they're full funded through Patreon for the time being so nothing will be going down for a good while.
If it wasn't for their tracking I would continue to use Imgur or Reddit's new image host just to let them foot the bandwidth bills.
Pic8 is not a image hosting, but more like a proxy that will upload pics to several different hosts and will then serve the most responsive/available one.
If a host goes down, it will keep serving pics through the other hosts.
Ok book marked. I was just thinking the alt net could really use a p2p image host.
I figured IPFS and .DAT tech would ended up being needed.
