Pic8 is not a image hosting, but more like a proxy that will upload pics to several different hosts and will then serve the most responsive/available one.

If a host goes down, it will keep serving pics through the other hosts.

Ok book marked. I was just thinking the alt net could really use a p2p image host.

I figured IPFS and .DAT tech would ended up being needed.

I'm in a slightly better mood as I just discovered that IPFS (ipfs.io) now has a browser extension out.

So we're almost there for these alt-technologies. Now we need to make TOR, I2P, & DAT sites work in normal browsers instead of having several specially configured browsers.
