Did they recommend slashing taxes and regulations in order that Chicagoans can earn more than $1,000 a month by new and better jobs? No?
The idea is to break the cycle of poverty.
What evidence is there that this money will be invested in a way to do that?
None ... it simply creates even more dependency on Mother government. Riots will occur if they ever suggest they do away with it. Welfare to work was the best plan ever, but even that didn't go far enough.
