- This is awesome. It is one step closer to having representative elections and avoiding always voting for the "lesser of two evils".
- It won't get traction - the powers-that-be have nothing to gain from it. US has an ass-backwards voting system, by design. It is easier for the Zionists to control two parties vs 10 parties.
- For the uneducated, . Well worth a listen.
- There is a . Key points being - none are perfect but what we have in the US is one of the worst.
There's a video (maybe cgpgray also). That goes over 3 alternatives to first past the lost.
Rank choice
Alternative vote
And I forget the third, maybe double elimination?
Each one has pros and cons, but all of them better than first past the post (in my opinion).
Maybe use a combination of the 3 (or 2 of 3) could eliminate the cons.
Use the right tool for the job. First past the post could be the right tool in certain circumstances.
Even in nature, it's all down to a binary decision. Yes/no, on/off. You go down to Plank length either it's 1 or 0. Anything not 0 is multiples of 1.
