The Latinos have been long brainwashed into the catholic dogma, and the Pope is probably shitting his panties over New York. It will be interesting to see if this blue pill gets swallowed...or requires the heimlich maneuver!
Many Catholics, and other religious people seem to overlook the abortion issue when voting. Latinos do seem to have a strong Catholic faith, you're right, will be interesting to see how this effects their support.
I'd guess it all depends on whether His Infallibleness can ignore it, or rallies the troops against it....if any abortion issue will stick in its craw, the late late term stuff happening in New York should do it. I recall he got wacky over birth control, and that abortion pill sometime ago....we will see if dogma or hypocrisy wins out.
