They call it 'false' that Rittenhouse was legally entitled to carry a weapon and link the Wisconsin statute that states "Any person under 18 years of age who possesses or goes armed with a dangerous weapon is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor."

They blithely ignore the section below that states "This section does not apply to a person under 18 years of age..."

It's been up for around nine months with no correction.

It took me a bit to understand what you are saying. The way I read the statue, possession of "dangerous weapons" is prohibited by persons under 18 but there is an explicit exception for rifles or shotguns.
